Summary

The Princes Highway is the major arterial national highway subject to heavy truck and medium vehicle traffic, linking
Southwestern Victoria and South-eastern South Australia
Earthworks, drainage works, pavement construction (new & widening of existing), bituminous surfacing, traffic control, signage and line marking in 2 locations:

o Site 1 – Yambuk (Ch.309.540km – Ch.311.020.km)

o Site 2 – Tyrendarra (Ch.325.320km – Ch.327.428km)

Project encountered several undisclosed subterranean caverns, under existing road surfaces, with remedial works conducted under strict geotechnical requirements. Also latent subgrade conditions requiring extensive dig out treatments.
